Wellington
Dear Room 10
Hello everyone! I have just had some photos printed of some of the things I have been doing in Wellington, and thought you would like to add them to your 'atlas wall'. So - here they are.
The first one is of Cousin Frank and I at 'The Beehive'. Can you see all the little windows of the building that look like honeycomb? We were hoping for some honey to eat, but we didn't even see any bees!! It was a wet and windy day, so we had to be careful as we sat on the fence. Just as well our fur keeps us warm and dry. So we went to a cafe to dry out and have a hot chocolate - yummy!! Chocolate is nearly as good as honey, and we soon felt better.
The next day is was sunny again, so we went for a walk up a high hill (there are lots of them in Wellington), and looked at the city and the harbour. There were ships ready to go out into Cook Straight. Brett was on one of them. He has gone out on the research ship to study the underwater current ;and the bottom of the sea. So I wont see him before I go to Auckland to see my Grandma and Grandad. I haven't seen them for ages, so I am quite excited. I will be going there on the bus, so it will be a long trip. It will take most of the day, but I have a new book to read on the way. So that will be GREAT! I LOVE reading. See you all soon.
Love from Max
