Choir members from the class joined with 400 other children on stage at the Founders Theatre in Hamilton to sing with Nathan King in the World Vision Kids for Kids concert. We left school at 8am to be there in time for the rehearsal, discovering that we were sitting at the top of the staging - with a great view of Chris (Funky Monkey's) and Nathan and of the whole theatre. It was fun practicing and by lunch time we were ready. Then it was off to the Hamilton Gardens for lunch and a quick play on the hill before getting back on the bus to return to school. We had a short time at home and a very early dinner. Then it was back to Hamilton for the evening concert. The theatre was full. The lights were bright and we had a wonderful evening singing and laughing and entertaining. We were all stars for the evening.......and it was well worth the very late night.
