Matamata - ana

As part of our Kiwiana studies we took a walk around Matamata to discover what makes our town special. We picked a beautifully sunny day (between the snow and the southerly winds) and spent nearly 2 hours finding places and categorizing their uniqueness.  We decided that these places were special to our town:  the Centennial Drive, the TV Station, the Information Centre with its Hobbit Hole decorations, the Gohlam Statue that welcomed everyone to Hobbiton, the Clock, and the Matamata Racing Ahead Signs.
