Kiwiana

We have been learning about Kiwiana.  Each day we have learned about different icons.  Sometimes we have written things into our book, and sometimes we have made something.  It was fun making little kiwi, flags, and ice-creams out of foams chips and real cones.  Today we made marmite sandwiches.  Kiwifruit can be green or yellow inside and Footroot Flats is a funny cartoon.  We have made L & P bottles and buzzy bees, and next week we will have a BBQ with tomato sauce out of the tomato shaped bottle.  We can sing the National Anthem and do stick games and the Haka.  Our book is full of interesting information about our special country.
