I have been reading your blog and see that you have been learning about being safe with dogs. I am please that you know how to look after yourself, because some dogs can be very scary, can't they? Dogs look like giants to me, so I have been learning to look after myself too. I have made friends with some dogs that live just down the road. Now that I know how to be safe I am not so afraid and I can play sensibly with my new friends. Here are some pictures of them: Scamp, Rufus and Poppy.

When I first meet these new friends I remembered what I had been taught. I asked the owner if I could pat them. Then I let them smell my paw. This was like asking them if I could pat them. Then I patted them on their neck. And even thought they had sharp teeth and looked a bit frightening, they were really quite friendly. I am still careful when I am with them because dogs are not toys, but we chase the ball together, and sit under the tree to have our lunch. Sometimes we have a little afternoon snooze together.....guess what? Poppy snores!!!
Be careful when you meet a dog. Remember what you have learned.
