Anzac Day

Anzac Cove today
On Tuesday our whole school remembered those who had died at war by holding an ANZAC Day Service.  We listened to the readings about the flag, the poppy and the poem about the fallen.  Then we raised and lowered the flag while the bugle played The Last Post.  Mr Moles, who used to be a Principal of out school, talked about visiting Gallipoli and bringing home a pine cone from the battle fields.  He had grown the pine seeds into small trees, and has given our school one to plant in our grounds.  It was a special way to remember all those who died for our freedom.

Saying the ode
