Pet and Flower Day

Even though the weather decided not to play ball, we had a fabulous day with our pets and flowers and other creations.  It was the end of a week focussing on spring - making hats, spring art, aqua jars, iced biscuits, sand saucers, scenes in a tray, buttonholes and any of the other categories we could do at home.  Some of us had lambs, calves or goats to show in the judges ring as well.  The classrooms smelt like a florist shop as we excitedly entered to observe the entires and check out who had won the prizes. Congratulations to everyone for their enthusiasm and effort.
