Dawn McMillan visits

As part of Book Week we had Dawn come and share her amazing array of books that she has written.  She talked about how she gets ideas from people she meets, places she goes and things that happen around her.  All of these images are stored in her brain for later retrieval and insertion into different stores.  Sometimes the wrong people pop up in the wrong story and that makes the stories wrong - but later they can turn up in the right place that makes that new story just right.  It is important not to throw out ideas that are wrong - because you never know when they will fit in somewhere else.
