Science Science Science

This term our focus has been on Natural Disasters.  We have done lots of experiments on Plate Tectonics, Earthquakes and Volcanoes.  All of our reading has been on these topics too.  We have learned heaps and it has been really exciting.  We have made lots of observations during our experiments, collated our thoughts, made acrostic poems about our earth and shared our ideas.  If you go onto the New Zealand GNS website and access 'Recent Quakes', you get a list of all the earthquakes that have just happened in NZ.  It is really interesting.  We didn't know so many earthquakes happen every day.
