2013 Begins

Welcome back 

A big welcome to all students and families to Room 10 and the 2013 year.  It is wonderful to have a class of enthusiastic, well mannered children who are eager to get on with their learning and excited to be back at school.  We will spent the next two weeks preparing our books, tables, and ourselves for the routines of our class.  We will begin art work and write some amazing poems about ourselves.  The pool will be in use every day  and the children will be getting ready for the swimming competitions on February 28th.  

We have lots of exciting things planned throughout the school for the year, and already, within class, children have been earning house points and table points.  Our main focus this term is learning about ourselves  in the context of our school 50 year jubilee.  All classes will be delving into one of the decades of this 50 years - ours is 1983-93 - so expect the children to come home with particular questions to ask you about what you remember of this time!  

Thank you to parents/caregivers who have sent in books and other stationery.  Once we have them all in we can begin in earnest.
