Tom and Duplisis

Alex brought in his two Bearded Dragons to show the class.  We sat in a circle and took them out of the big container they came to school in.  Dragons look like a big lizard.  They have a puffed up throat that expands when they are frightened or threatened.

Bearded dragons are a reptile that live in the dry rocky semi desert and dry open woodlands in Australia.  They climb and spend time in branches and bushes, or bask in the sun on rocks.  They have spiny scales that are not sharp.  They waving their hand (like a ninja) to show submission and bob their heads to show dominance.  They like to eat leafy greens, veges, non citrus fruit and insects.
