Grandparents Day
What a fabulous time we had with our Grandparents last Friday. Our Grandma's, Nana's, Granddads, Nanny's, Nan Nan, Koru, and Poppa's all came to our class. We greeted them with a mihi, sang a song, did our handwriting with their help and showed them around our room. Then we had a picnic lunch and played games. In the afternoon we had a singing assembly in the hall. We sang song to them, they sang to us and then we sang together. The choir and the Senior Kapahaka groups did items. Our Grandparents are special: they are our family historians, our mentors, our friends and confidants. Thankyou for coming to our class so we can show you what we do at school.
