Paper Butterflies

This afternoon we made butterflies out of paper.  After we had cut out the shape we glued on glitter to make the spots.  We had to fold the paper like a fan and staple the middle so that we could gently pull the wings out to make the butterfly shape.   It was a little bit like a real butterfly drying its wings when it comes out of the chrysalis.
