Healthy Food Triangle (pyramid)

We are learning about healthy food and what we should eat the most of.  In the triangle the bottom section (things we should eat lots of) are things that come from trees or the ground.  The middle part (we should eat some of) are things that come from animals.  The top part (things that are treat or sometimes foods) are the things that come in packets and don't fit the other two categories.

We got out our lunch boxes to see what we had that fitted in to each area.  Oh dear.......we had LOTS and LOTS of things that were in the 'sometimes food' top
section.  We had a good amount in the healthy food section too - so well done Mums and Dads!  Perhaps some tweaking of the top section could be done so that our lunch boxes are more balanced.
