We have spent time over the past 3 weeks learning to write and follow procedures. We have made hot chocolate, pizza, toast and faces on biscuits. We discovered that it wasn't as easy as it seemed to pretend a Martian had landed and tell him every little step in order for him to make toast. We have had fun (and full tummies) along the way. Next week we will be doing something a little more tricky - writing instructions for making a trolly - and making it - to tie in with our small machines unit. I hope we don't leave out any important steps - like putting the wheels on!!
