The gingerbread man

Today at Fun in 1 we read the story of the gingerbread man, and then we made some.  We put all the ingredients into the bowl, mixed them up and then rolled out some of the dough so that we could cut the shapes and decorate them.  We each had our own gingerbread man.  We cooked them in the oven while we coloured our gingerbread man poems.  Then we took them home to eat for afternoon tea.
Just as well they did not run away when we opened the oven door!!
