Teddy Bears Picnic

To complete our Max Unit we had a Teddy Bears Picnic.  We all brought our soft toys to school and went on a bear hunt:  between the trees (swings), through the mud (sandpit), up the hill (climbing frame), down the hill (slide), over the bridge, across the river (bike track)and through the long grass - and we found a bear!!  It was Max and he had made us a picnic.  We had honey crunch, teddy bear biscuits and teddy bear sized honey sandwiches.

Max has now gone on the bus to visit his Grandma and Grandpa Bear in Auckland.  We have loved having him in our class and coming to stay with each of our families.  Come back and see us again soon Max.
